THE WATCH
A rare 1990s Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk 7100 for sale in half gold - these bad boys bridge the gap between the vintage Sea Hawks and the modern ones, and look like your classic divers. These neo-vintage Sea Hawks are closer to iconic dive watch models such as the Submariner aesthetically, rather than the Sea Hawks nowadays which are chunkier and more aggressive.
The 7100s come with a sapphire bezel unlike their 7300 counterparts with aluminum bezels. The watch is at a very wearable 38mm but wears slightly larger due to its big straight lugs and its crown guard. The watch is equipped with a higher grade base ETA2892 caliber. The original dial has gone through a relume during the service by the manufacturer, and the crown was also replaced during this process.
Impeccable condition due to it being fully handled by the original manufacturers, and definitely a rare bird that had a fairly short production period.
This watch was sent to Switzerland then for a full overhaul and restoration works by Girard-Perregaux back in 2016. There are adequate number of links to accommodate wrists up to about 19cm.
