THE WATCH
An absolutely stunning Girard Perregaux Richeville Automatic Chronograph from the 1990s, the golden years of the brand's ownership under Luigi "Gino" Macaluso. Truly an underrated era in Girard Perregaux history that brought the brand out from obscurity, and into a new realm of watchmaking. This Richeville Chronograph is a thing of beauty, with its gorgeous blue burst dial and silvered roman numerals that is in perfect condition. This watch screams classic elegance, and its tonneau shape is not something that is often seen in modern chronograph designs. Additionally, the 36mm case size makes this watch a very beautiful, yet conservative size for most people out there. Contrary to popular belief, this is not a diminutive watch just because it sits under 40mm, which is an absolutely bizarre take in modern watches. The size is pure elegance, and its condition is overall impeccable for a watch of this age. The case only has small superficial scratches, and the dial is in perfect condition. The movement under the hood is an automatic movement that uses a Dubois-Depraz module and is very robust and reliable. The watch runs very accurately, and the chronograph functions are extremely smooth.
ACCESSORIES
The watch is accompanied by an original GP strap that is well worn and the GP buckle. It is currently on a brand new brown crocodile strap.
